Notes

Graeme McDowell collected his fourth career PGA TOUR title in his 215th start at the age of 39 years, 8 months, 1 day with a one-stroke win over Mackenzie Hughes and Chris Stroud at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship. McDowell matched Brice Garnett's winning score from 2018 (the inaugural event) of 18-under 270 with rounds of 73-64-64-69 at the Corales Golf Course.

With the win, Graeme McDowell became the fourth European winner on TOUR in as many weeks (Francesco Molinari/Arnold Palmer Invitational, Rory McIlroy/THE PLAYERS Championship, Paul Casey/Valspar Championship, McDowell/Corales Puntacana Resort&Club Championship), the longest such streak since 1970.

For the first time in four tries, Graeme McDowell converted a 54-hole lead/co-lead to victory on the PGA TOUR (previous results: T33/2011 THE PLAYERS, T2/2012 U.S. Open, T3/2014 WGC-HSBC Champions).

After a first-round 73, Graeme McDowell stood T81, the worst 18-hole position by a winner on the PGA TOUR since Satoshi Kodaira at the RBC Heritage (T82).

Chris Stroud finished T2 in his first start at the event, earning the second runner-up result of his PGA TOUR career. Stroud entered the final round trailing by one after a third-round 64, his first sub-65 score on TOUR since the 2016 Charles Schwab Challenge (64/R3).

Mackenzie Hughes (T2) closed with back-to-back 66s, recording a combined score of 132 or better in the final two rounds for the first time in his PGA TOUR career. Hughes played the par 4s in 10-under, best in the field, and carded 25 birdies, tying his career-high entering the week (2018 RBC Canadian Open).

Monday qualifier Chip McDaniel shot a final-round 63 to tie the low score in the first two years of the event (Brice Garnett /R1/2018). With the top-10, McDaniel earned a spot in the field at the following week's Valero Texas Open. The University of Kentucky alumnus was making just his second start on TOUR (T60/2018 Barbasol Championship).

Defending champion Brice Garnett finished T39 at 7-under 281.

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo missed the cut after rounds of 79-80 in his second start on the PGA TOUR.
