Notes

With a score of 16-under 264, Brooks Koepka earned his first World Golf Championships victory and seventh career PGA TOUR title at the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Koepka entered the final round trailing Rory McIlroy by one stroke before firing a bogey-free 65 to win by three.

With the victory, Brooks Koepka clinched top honors in the Wyndham Rewards Top 10 and became the first three-time winner of the season. He had never won three times in a season before 2018-19.

Having won the 2019 PGA Championship, Brooks Koepka became the fifth player to win a World Golf Championships title and a major in the same season, joining Tiger Woods (eight times), Geoff Ogilvy (2006), Rory McIlroy (2014) and Dustin Johnson (2016).

Brooks Koepka became the first player to win on the PGA TOUR entering the week at No. 1 in the FedExCup standings since Bryson DeChambeau at the 2018 Dell Technologies Championship.

Highlighted by a final-round 6-under 64, Webb Simpson finished solo-second to claim his best result on TOUR since winning THE PLAYERS Championship in 2018. It represented his second career top-five in a WGC and first since the 2013 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play (T5).

Marc Leishman followed a third-round 7-under 63 with a 67 in the final round to claim third place, his second career solo-third at the event.

Entering the final round with a one-shot lead, Rory McIlroy shot a 1-over 71 to finish T4. McIlroy's third-round 62 tied the low score of the week. McIlroy and Brooks Koepka had never played together in the final round on the PGA TOUR prior to Sunday's final round.

Defending champion Justin Thomas finished T12 at 6-under 274. Dustin Johnson, who won the 2018 FedEx St. Jude Classic at TPC Southwind, tied three others for 20th.
