Notes

Paul Casey became the first player to win the Valspar Championship in back-to-back seasons, recording a score of 8-under 276 to defeat Jason Kokrak and Louis Oosthuizen by one stroke. The victory was the third of Casey's PGA TOUR career in his 250th start at the age of 41 years, 8 months, 3 days.

Prior to Paul Casey's successful title defense at the Valspar Championship, the most recent player to go back-to-back at a PGA TOUR event was Brooks Koepka at the U.S. Open in 2017 and 2018.

Paul Casey was the third consecutive European winner on TOUR (Francesco Molinari/Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, Rory McIlroy/THE PLAYERS Championship, Casey/Valspar Championship). Europeans had not won on TOUR in three consecutive weeks since 2012 (McIlroy/The Honda Classic, Justin Rose/World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship, Luke Donald/Valspar Championship).

With a T2, Jason Kokrak collected his second consecutive and third career top-10 at the event. Kokrak's third-round 66, which tied the low round of the week, included an ace at the par-3 15th, the second hole-in-one of his PGA TOUR career. The tie for second represented his third career runner-up result on TOUR(2012 Safeway Open, 2016 Genesis Open, 2019 Valspar Championship).

Louis Oosthuizen tied Jason Kokrak for second, finishing one shot back of champion Paul Casey. The T2 was Oosthuizen's second top-10 at the event in his seventh start and eighth runner-up on the PGA TOUR (most recent: 2017 THE PLAYERS Championship).

Playing in the final group in the final round with eventual champion Paul Casey, Dustin Johnson shot a 74 to finish T6. The closing 74 snapped a career-long streak of 14 consecutive scores in the 60s and was Johnson's first round without a birdie since the 2017 World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions (R4). Johnson was making his third start at the event and first since 2010.

In his PGA TOUR debut, 17-year-old Akshay Bhatia missed the cut at 4-over.

After 36 holes, the co-leaders were at 6-under and the cut was made at 1-over. The seven-shot difference between the lead and the cut was the smallest on the PGA TOUR since the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship (7).
