Shriners Children's Open - Won the Shriners Children's Open in his season debut by three strokes over Patrick Cantlay and Matthew NeSmith, earning his second career PGA TOUR title. Became the first player since Tiger Woods in 1996 to win twice before turning 21 years old. Did not make a bogey (or worse) over 72 holes, becoming the first player to do so on TOUR since Joaquin Niemann at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic and first en route to victory since J.T. Poston at the 2019 Wyndham Championship. Held a share of the lead entering the final round, his first career 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR. Sentry Tournament of Champions - Carded four scores in the 60s to finish T5 in his first appearance at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. U.S. Open - Finished T8 at the U.S. Open, his first career top-10 in a major championship. The Open Championship - Finished T2 at The Open Championship in his second career start at the event. Carded a final-round 67, tied for the lowest of any player in the field.

Personal
- Goes by "Tom," a nickname he had as a child after Thomas the Tank Engine in the TV series "Thomas & Friends."
- Lived in various countries growing up including China, Thailand, Australia and the Philippines.
- Is fluent in Tagalog, English and Korean.
- Father, Chang-Ik Lee, is also a professional golfer. He played on what is now the Korn Ferry Tour before Tom was born and then became a teaching professional.
- Won his first professional event in Malaysia in 2019 on the Asian Development Tour by a margin of six strokes.
- With his maiden PGA TOUR title at the 2022 Wyndham Championship, became the first TOUR winner born after 2000.
