Korn Ferry Tour
BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX - Won his professional and Korn Ferry Tour debut at the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX at Thornblade Club in Greer, South Carolina, defeating 44-year-old Josh Teater with a par on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff (par-4 18th). Became the 18th player in history, the first since Tom Lewis at the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour Championship, and the first outside of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals since Sungjae Im at the 2018 The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic to win a Korn Ferry Tour debut start. Delivered a stellar back nine in the final round, which featured three consecutive birdies at Nos. 13-15 and an eagle at the par-5 16th, but fell into a playoff with Teater at 21-under 264 after a three-putt bogey on the 72nd hole. Became the fourth PGA TOUR University alum to win on the Korn Ferry Tour, joining Trevor Werbylo (2022 Lake Charles Championship), Davis Thompson (2022 UNC Health Championship presented by STITCH), and Pierceson Coody (2022 Live and Work in Maine Open, 2023 Panama Championship). Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open - Held the 36-hole co-lead and outright 54-hole lead in his bid to become the second player in Korn Ferry Tour history to win each of his first two starts on Tour (Ben Kohles/2012), but ultimately lost to Korn Ferry Tour debutant Ricky Castillo in a three-way sudden-death playoff which also featured Kyle Jones. Carded an even-par 70 in the final round, and fell into the three-way playoff after a bogey-eagle-bogey-bogey stretch on Nos. 13-16. Became the fourth player in Korn Ferry Tour history to win a debut start and follow it with a runner-up finish, joining Ben Kohles (Win/2012 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, Win/2012 Cox Classic), Sungjae Im (Win/2018 The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic, 2nd/2018 The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic), and Buddy Garner (Win/1990 Panama City Beach Classic, 2nd/1991 Panama City Beach Classic). NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank - Closed with back-to-back birdies for a T10 finish, his sixth consecutive top-10 -- which all came in his first six starts on the Korn Ferry Tour. Tied the Korn Ferry Tour record for consecutive top-10s previously established by Doug Martin (1993), Tom Gillis (2009), and John Mallinger (2011).
