2021-22 Season Highlights


Earned his first career victory at The Honda Classic, becoming the first player from Austria to win on the PGA TOUR, and went on to finish No. 7 in the FedExCup standings, earning a bonus of $1.75 million. Qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and advanced to the TOUR Championship for the first time. Collected five top-10s, including his first career win and runner-up, and made 19 cuts in 33 starts. Marked his first season with five or more top-10s.

The Honda Classic - Recorded a final-round 66 to win The Honda Classic by one stroke over Shane Lowry, earning his first PGA TOUR title in his 95th career start at the age of 28 years, 9 months, 26 days. Became the first player from Austria to win on the PGA TOUR. Entered the final round trailing Daniel Berger by five strokes. First-round 71 marked the highest start by a TOUR winner since Rory McIlroy at the 2021 Wells Fargo Championship (72). THE PLAYERS Championship - Finished T9 at THE PLAYERS Championship, his first top-10 in two starts at the event. RBC Heritage - Collected his third top-10 of the season with a T3 at the RBC Heritage. Co-led the field in Par-3 Scoring Average (2.75). FedEx St. Jude Championship - Fell to Will Zalatoris in a three-hole playoff at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, earning the first runner-up finish of his career. Marked his first appearance in a playoff on the PGA TOUR. Zalatoris clinched the victory with a bogey on the par-3 11th after both players went in the penalty area off the tee.
