Sanderson Farms Championship - Won the Sanderson Farms Championship to earn his second PGA TOUR victory in his 87th start at the age of 25 years, 2 months, 10 days. Victory came in his first start of the season and fifth start at Sanderson Farms Championship, site of his professional debut (T43/2017). At 22-under, became the first player with a 72-hole total of 22-under or better at the Sanderson Farms Championship since the event moved to Country Club of Jackson in 2014. Moved to No. 1 in the FedExCup standings for the first time in his PGA TOUR career. Led the field in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (1.538 per round). Valspar Championship - Won the Valspar Championship for the second consecutive year, earning his third career PGA TOUR victory and second of the season. Defeated Davis Riley with a birdie on the second hole (par-4 16th), making a 32-foot, 6-inch putt. Became the second player in tournament history to successfully defend a title, joining Paul Casey (2019), and fourth multiple winner of the event. Became the fourth player to earn multiple victories during the season. Improved to 1-1 in playoffs on the PGA TOUR. Held a share of the lead after the first round, becoming the second defending champion to hold the 18-hole lead/co-lead on the season. Improved to 1-for-6 with the 18-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR. Zurich Classic of New Orleans - Finished runner-up at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with partner Billy Horschel, earning his third career runner-up on TOUR. Charles Schwab Challenge - Earned his third victory of the season at the Charles Schwab Challenge, winning in a playoff over Scottie Scheffler, who entered the week as World No. 1 and the FedExCup leader. Entered the final round trailing by seven strokes before recording a 5-under 65 to force the playoff with Scheffler, becoming the second consecutive TOUR winner to trail by seven after 54 holes (Justin Thomas/PGA Championship). Became the second player in tournament history to win after facing a deficit of seven strokes or more entering the final round (Nick Price/7/1994). Made a 38-foot, 2-inch birdie putt from off the green on the first playoff hole to win, becoming the first player to hole his final shot from off the green and win the event since Matthew Wolff at the 2019 3M Open.
