2021-22 Season Highlights


Qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs for the fourth time but did not compete in the FedEx St. Jude Championship and the BMW Championship due to personal reasons, finishing the season No. 64 in the official FedExCup standings. Was one of eight players to record multiple top-fives in the four major championships. Earned five top-10s and made 14 cuts in 17 starts.

PGA Championship - Carded a final-round 67 to finish T5 at the PGA Championship, his first top-10 in a major since the 2019 Open Championship (2nd). Co-led the field in Birdies (18). Genesis Scottish Open - Finished T4 at the Genesis Scottish Open, his second top-five of the season. Led the field in Par-4 Scoring Average (3.95). The Open Championship - Carded a final-round 67 to finish T4 at The Open Championship, collecting matching T4s in Scotland in back-to-back weeks.   • When he was a child, he and his father, Pete, used to sneak on to Royal Birkdale. Would later make his first cut in an Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in 2017.
  • His wife Clare is also his manager. Along with Clare's two children, the couple have a boy, Franklin, born in October 2017.
  • Reads a lot of books including detective stories, historical books and biographies.
  • Loves yoga and meditation and uses the Headspace app.
  • Watches lots of other sports including football, rugby, darts and loves following Everton Football Club.
