Personal
- Father, Jay, was the 1975 NCAA medalist and two-time All-American in the 1970s who went on to a highly successful PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions career.
- Uncle, Jerry, was also All-America at Wake Forest, a TOUR player in the early 1990s and is the head coach of the Demon Deacons.
- Great uncle, Bob Goalby, won the 1968 Masters.
- Hosts the annual Bill Haas Charity Classic in Greenville, S.C., to raise funds for the Barbara Stone Foundation and the SYNNEX Share the Magic program.
- First person to tweet at him when he joined Twitter in February 2015 was former President Bill Clinton: "Tweeting is easier than birdie-ing! Welcome @BHaasGolf!"
- Older brother, Jay, played golf at Augusta State and Monday-qualified for the 2006 Wachovia Championship to join father, Jay, and brother in the field.
